Mother And Child Southwest

This is a pastel by mom, Pat McReynolds. Being half Filipino and half Norwegian, born of immigrant parents, she was drawn to the Native-American culture here in the United States. But being an art history professor, she was fascinated by the art and culture of all native people around the world. I love how she incorporated contemporary with traditional in a loose technique so you can see her pastel strokes.
