Wolf Mandala

Here is mom’s wonderful wolf mandala. Pat McReynolds (mom) painted two large animal mandalas, the backgrounds of which were used on this blog. I posted the mountain lion or cougar mandala on this website about a year ago. In her 80s, she loved commemorating endangered species, not just animals and flowers, but also insects and plants. The circular design of the mandala symbolizes life as never ending. The mandala is also a meditation tool, representing the spiritual journey within the viewer.
